Synthetic Marijuana lands 70 Alabama teens in the hospital - ABC 33/40 - Birmingham News, Weather, Sports: "BIRMINGHAM - AL -
Some know it by "Spice," "K-2," or Black Magic. Regardless of the name, it is a synthetic marijuana. Area physicians warn it's more dangerous than marijuana. Teenagers are winding up in the hospital with serious liver conditions and psychotic breakdowns.

"Spice" products just became an issue for emergency rooms in January of last year. Similar synthetic marijuana products, like "K-2" were banned, but new versions of those same compounds are back on the market. We took a trip inside a Birmingham store and spoke with a woman who is recovering from a serious addiction to "Spice.""
