Tanczos hopes for pot debate - Newstalk ZB: "An advocate for cannabis is hoping the ACT Party's stance on the drug will open up a rational debate on the issue.
Leader Don Brash is calling for the decriminalisation of cannabis saying 100 million dollars a year of taxpayer money is being used to police a law that is not working.
Former Green Party MP Nandor Tanczos says most New Zealanders want cannabis law reform of some kind.
He says he is surprised Dr Brash is not calling for the full legalisation of cannabis, a regulated market and taxing the product, as that would seem to be more consistent with ACT's philosophy
